The most common type when changing names and surnames on Invitations is the lack of variations. It's strange that we change all types that only ladies can change (even if it sounds not necessarily good).
💙 Remember, we inflect all surnames that we can manage to inflect (even if it doesn't sound perfect):
Uszko -> Annę i Jana Uszków
Kotarba -> Annę i Jana Kotarbów
💙 In the case of a double-barreled surname, inflect both parts of it.
💙 In feminine surnames, only names ending in -a are inflected. Surnames ending in -owa, -ewa are inflected like adjectives:
Nowak -> Annę Nowak
Kostrzewa -> Annę Kostrzewę
💙 Masculine surnames ending in -er are inflected with the changeable -e, less commonly -nie.
Domer -> Łukasza Domera
Szuster -> Michała Szustra
💙 Note - if a masculine surname ends in -a (Krzysztof Muda – Katarzyna Muda), the inflection of the feminine surname will be: Katarzynę Mudę (not Mudą).
